About Us
Engova builds tools that help soccer and futsal academies measure, understand, and optimize the training environments surrounding young players. We believe development is not a score — it is an ecosystem.
Our Mission
Decades of developmental science, elite academy methodology, and neuroscience research tell us exactly what young players need at each stage. But this knowledge lives in academic papers and elite institutions — out of reach for the thousands of grassroots academies shaping the next generation. Engova exists to make that knowledge computable, accessible, and actionable for every academy, every coach, every parent.
What We Believe
What surrounds the player matters more than what is said to them. The quality of the environment is the quality of the development.
Data-driven development should not be a privilege reserved for elite academies. A 7-year-old in a community program deserves the same developmental rigor as one in a professional academy.
Recovery, rest, and family environment shape a player as much as training does. Development is not something that happens only at the academy — parents are co-architects of growth.
Regression, plateau, and breakthrough are all normal. A system that only rewards growth penalizes the natural rhythm of learning. We measure the conditions, not the outcomes.
What We Build
EQI is a three-tier measurement system that quantifies the quality of training environments across five developmental domains — Technical, Cognitive, Physical, Psychological, and Social/Creative. It synthesizes session composition, domain alignment, coaching quality, environmental diversity, recovery, and consistency into a single, interpretable index. Built on peer-reviewed research. Calibrated to developmental phase. Designed for coaches and parents alike.
